In 2013, I launched Total Transformation: Transform your body, mind, and spirit. My journey began as a personal trainer and fitness instructor, but I discovered that wellness extends beyond just a workout routine. Now, as NCCA accredited Health Coach and Behavior Change Specialist with the American Council on Exercise, I’ve developed the Foundations program, which adopts a holistic approach to health and wellness, addressing every aspect of your being.
Wellness is an ongoing journey. I've been using Foundations for over ten years, navigating various life stages, including fitness levels, emotional challenges, divorce, parenting, empty nesting, knee replacement, relationship changes, financial crises, and peri-menopause. Throughout these experiences, it has been my anchor, providing balance, focus, motivation, and accountability, while helping me clarify my life goals and pursue my dreams. The obstacles I've faced are common to many, and while my goals have evolved as I have, Foundations has consistently guided me through. During a presentation at a local hospital, someone remarked, “It seems like it is a lot of.” I won't deny it; it requires effort and isn’t always easy, but the rewards are absolutely worth it.
Foundations is not merely a workout plan, diet, or weight loss strategy. It’s not a quick-fix solution or a pill. Instead, it is a comprehensive wellness program built on a solid foundation, considering all eight dimensions of wellness. Don’t settle for less.
